Export or delete the data OpenSky holds for your homeschool.

Your records belong to you. This article covers how to delete your account.

## Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your whole homeschool permanently. This cannot be undone.

1. Visit https://www.openskyplanner.com/account-deletion and complete the form.
2. Support will contact you within 1-2 business days to confirm the action.
3. Your account will be deleted.

What is deleted:

- Students and all their progress
- Transcripts and portfolios
- Courses, lessons and comments
- Calendars and schedules
- Course templates
- Billing and subscription data
- Activity history

Before you do it:

- **It deletes the homeschool for every parent in it**, not just you. If another parent still wants to use OpenSky, do not delete the account.
- **Student sign-ins are removed** along with the students.
- **Billing stops.** Any time you have already paid for simply runs out, and there are no further charges.
- **Generate any portfolios or transcripts you want to keep first.** They cannot be produced afterwards.
