Keep files and links in one library and attach them to courses and lessons.

Resources keep everything in one place, such as the files and links you attach to courses, lessons and tasks, plus the work your students submit. Each one is stored once and can be reused anywhere, and the **Resource Library** shows all of them in one place.

## The Resource Library

Click **Resources** in the sidebar. The library lists every file and link added across OpenSky, with:

- A search box, filters for **All Types**, **Files**, **Student Submissions** and **Links**, and a course filter.
- Sorting by **Date Added**, **Name** or **Most used**.
- The courses each resource is linked to, with buttons to open, copy or download it. PDFs and images open right in the browser.

The library is for finding things. Adding and attaching happens inside a course.

## Adding resources to a course

1. Open the course in the course editor and click **Resources** in the toolbar.
2. Click **Upload Files** or **Add Links**.
3. Click **Done**.

**Files:** up to 10 at a time, 10 MB each. Images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP), PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and CSV files are accepted.

**Links:** paste the URL and give it an optional title. YouTube links play inside the lesson drawer, which keeps students on just that video.

The **All Resources** tab in the same dialog lets you attach something you already uploaded to another course, so one file can serve several courses without uploading it twice.

## Attaching to a lesson or task

Open the lesson in the course editor and click **Add Resource** in its **Resources** card, tick what you want, and click **Add Selected**. Each task has its own **Add Resource** button for things that belong to that task alone. New uploads made here are added to the course and pre-ticked for you.

## What students see

Lesson resources appear under **Resources** in the lesson drawer; task resources sit under their task. Students can open and download them, and YouTube links play in place.

## Removing a resource

Removing a resource from a lesson, task or course only detaches it. It stays in the Resource Library and remains attached anywhere else it is used.
