OpenSky offers a referral program that lets subscribers share a personal referral link with other homeschool families. These terms apply whenever you share your link or sign up through someone else’s.
For the family you refer: A new household that signs up through your link and starts a paid subscription receives 50% off their first month on a monthly plan, or 10% off their first year on an annual plan. The discount applies once, to the first paid invoice only, and cannot be combined with a promotion code.
For you, the referrer: You earn $5 when the household you referred pays their first monthly invoice and $10 when they pay their second. If they choose an annual plan, you earn $15 when they pay their first annual invoice. Rewards are paid in cash by our support team after the qualifying payment has been confirmed.
To qualify for a reward:
• Your OpenSky account must be in good standing with the referral program turned on when the referred family signs up
• The referred family must be a new household that has not previously had an OpenSky account
• You may not refer yourself, members of your own household, or any other account you control
• Payments that are refunded, disputed, or reversed do not qualify, and we may reclaim a reward already paid on such a payment
Referral links are for personal sharing with people you know. Posting your link in spam, paid advertising, coupon or deal sites, or misrepresenting OpenSky or the offer will void any rewards and may result in termination of your account.
Rewards may be treated as taxable income in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for any taxes that apply.
We may change or end the referral program at any time. Rewards you have already earned will be honored.
